Getting out of a crisis

Suppliers waiting, banks tightening: there are still choices to make, if you act before it is too late.

I am often called in when the situation is already under pressure: cash flows tighten, margins thin out, decisions get heavier. My job is to put the numbers back in order and build a path that banks and creditors can accept.

“Strategy that ignores cash is just rhetoric.”

When to call me

Warning signs not to ignore

The earlier you act, the more options remain open.

You pay suppliers late and every month you have to choose who to pay first.
Your bank is asking you to repay, cutting your facilities or not renewing your credit lines.
Tax and social security arrears grow month after month.
You don’t know whether cash will last the next three months.
What I do

Three tools, one goal: keeping the business alive

Cash flow management

A 13-week cash forecast: every week you know what comes in, what goes out and where to act. It is the basis of every negotiation with banks and suppliers.
Treasury

Turnaround plan

A financial plan built on real figures, showing banks and creditors how and when they will be paid.
Plan

Negotiated crisis settlement

The procedure under the Italian Insolvency Code for negotiating with creditors with the help of an independent expert, with the option of requesting protective measures against their enforcement actions.
Insolvency Code

In some cases the business also needs temporary hands-on financial leadership: the Part-time CFO.
